DB Personal Trainer Brand story

I am a personal trainer for everyday living and longevity, a health and fitness coach to adults and seniors, people with injuries and special conditions, as well as clients who want to gain/ lose weight.

For more than 30 years I have been a leader and role model in the leisure industry with much experience working in the private sector, local governments and councils, as well as third sector. I am dedicated to the Health Industry and currently manage my clients on various online platforms.

The uncertainness of Covid-19 and the dramatic impact on the leisure industry is one I believe has resulted in many positives that has driven my industry forward with more people than ever becoming aware of the importance of health, wellness and longevity. I have uniquely and continually served the industry for more than 30 years, providing a high level of PT and group fitness long before google reviews were introduced!

My story started in 1993!!

Once I graduated and with my certifications, I began to work in the fitness industry as a Lifestyle Coach, Senior Instructor, Gym Manager and General Manager. I lived in Bermuda for 21 years gaining further experience as a Spa Coordinator then Gym Manager, Diet Centre Manager, Fitness Director and Wellness Director of the islands most prestigious wellness facility. I took part in an annual biggest loser competition and won “best coach” for each year of the show.

Back in the U.K. since 2021, I have my own company; DB Personal Trainer. I work internationally online with vast experience behind me to help my clients be a better version of themselves. The is no travel to the gym required and my clients enjoy the privacy, comfort and time effectiveness of working out from home.

I work with a wide variety of clients including those that do not ‘like’ exercise but are trying to better themselves. I work tirelessly to deliver results from clients while I have inspired many other Fitness Instructors along my journey.

My retired executives stay healthy, vibrant and active with discrete, personalised coaching aimed at increasing bone density, retaining muscle mass, gentle flexibility, improving mental wellbeing and preventing neurological diseases.

Rehabilitation

We have vast experience to help rehabilitate clients’ medical needs, physical injury or recovering from illness. We can provide strength and fitness in a safe and monitored environment that can aid both recovery and confidence.

Nutrition Support

We can help accelerate the achievement of your immediate and long-range goals. We can explain body weight, body type, body fat, all aspects of nutrition and guidelines for weight loss (with or without your medications).

We can provide 24/7 nutrition support, meal planning, recipe cards, portion size guide and shopping lists.

Group Fitness

Our group fitness classes and DB community engages social connections, enhances physical health, improves balance, boosts mental well-being, as well as reducing stress, and promotes cognitive function… all from the comfort of your own work out space.

Our group fitness will increase your motivation, and encourage consistency in your exercise, leading to better overall health and a higher quality of life.

I love to travel, as do my clients (for work and pleasure), and my online platform keeps everyone consistent and accountable no matter where we are (and what food challenges we are facing).

We can schedule as many or as few sessions each week depending on your needs and availability.
